Hi people,

This is a follow up on our class chalet outing!

Response has been excellent thus far, thanks very much for your support!

We have 16 people who wants the outing (presumably they will go). But the more the merrier and the CHEAPER. So PLEASE try to get more people onto the blog and do the survey!

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=YbAAEdFrW_2bj_2fpd5GD67HXw_3d_3d

We have 2 options. Since $ is the most important issue, it will be the main deciding factor.

1. CostaSand Resorts: 4beds per room Approx 100$ (depend on type of room: Kampong, Normal, Double Storey etc.)

2. AlohaLoyang: 6 beds in a single storey bungalow.

RI people are available on the 5th n 6th of Nov (school hols start). Since Spore sch hols hasnt officially begun, it is offpeak: 140$!

Other option is Dec 3,4 (still ok) or 12th onwards (very high demand). But since Spore sch hols begin, its 250$.

So need some indication from y'all: 5/6 Nov, 3/4 Dec can make it?

Currently, Aloha Loyang is the choice.

Below are the details for the resort, rooms and price. Please have a look!

Aloha Loyang: Right at Pasir Ris Park/Beach suitable for all activities mentioned in survey

Resort facilities: a giant fun pool with jacuzzis, children’s playroom, arcade room, a multi-purpose court

5 or 6 Nov: Our hols begin but not for Spore Schools. Considered Offpeak, only 140$ vs Peak 250$. Must book ASAP. This is the best deal in town!!!!!! (believe me, I know after spending so much time researching...)

If we can make it, the $ is manageable given our number of respondees and I can book already.

Otherwise, for 250$, we aim for >16 people to go so we pay about 10-15$ pax. Plus BBQ (http://www.ezb.com.sg, only company catering to our small group), another 6-9$ pax.

GARDEN TERRACE

There are 10 chalets at our Garden Terraces. These single-storey units, with sheltered pavilions around the BBQ areas, are fully furnished with

a living room set with TV & games table; dining area;

2 air-conditioned bedrooms with 6 beds (2 single and 2 double-deck), wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables & wall fans;

2 toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;

BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

Garden Terrace A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J
2 bedrooms, 2 single and 2 double-deck beds, 1 common toilet, 1 common bathroom

The suitable group size for day use is 20 persons only. 6 persons only for night use (don worry, can cram or sleep on floor). Normally only some will sleep, they can use the beds. The rest will be playing.

Check-in time 3:00pm to 7:30pm
Check-out time 8:30am to 10:30am
